MISSION STATEMENT:

The Cape Girardeau Public School Foundation will provide resources to enrich teaching, inspire learning and enhance opportunities for all students enrolled in the Cape Girardeau Public School District. The Foundation provides an opportunity for alumni and members of the community to contribute to the well-being of our students.

GOALS:

The Foundation achieves its MISSION by directing resources toward the following:

• Celebrating student academic success,
• Recognizing staff for creative and innovative teaching,
• Increasing the visibility of Cape public schools,
• Promoting the understanding that everyone in the community is responsible for creating quality public education and benefits from outstanding public schools, and
• Inspiring parents, businesses and the community to participate with the school district in enriching education.
